This brings up a new question. Are we going to have any problems with recruiting someone that speaks NO english? It would make it difficult for them to keep up on announcements and whatnot.

Well, it's much easier to read another language (esp. on the computer with online dictionaries and the like), and he doesnt really need to speak a lot. If the need arises, we could have any of our Spanish speaking members (which are numerous) translate for him.

I like him though, and ive played with him quite a bit

I think when a situation like this comes up we should still be able to process there application..
We are a global clan so we should expect a lot of people that dont speak english to join our clan

I think if there are any questions we do have Admins that can translate what they put and vice versa help out an applicant fill out,after all if we refer i think we should help them join in... Reason i also liked joining OAS][ Was been able to meet people all over the world not just USA.........Thanks for letting us put our thoughts in here love you guys!

i agree with sick should be no reason to to deny joining for not knowing much english and i think its good for everyone if different languages joined even might help some people out in different ways

I hope I wasnt misunderstood. I do NOT have an issue with someone that does not speak english. Shit, you guys have heard me on TS after about 5 Rum and Cokes... Even I dont speak it then.

I also agree with the sick, do not speak English well, I think the clan and Global may accept new members without having the domain of language. I use a lot http://translate.google.com that helps me communicate with different people around the world.

There is absolutley no problem with non- americans joining the clan ( Im from Austria by the way),
there just might be a problem with communication though.
You have to agree on that. So unless we translate all the rules in X number of languages, I think it
vital that every OAS member knows enough english ( when sober) to communicate.
