AA3 help

after i installed the patch and it was loading it says

**error : Failed to creat punkbuster service: cannot creat a file when it already exist :S

then i fixed it and completed loading when i launch the game it says (( AA3Game.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.))

mine keeps telling me it can't contact the server.

egyptian i seem too be havin the same problem if you find a fix could you let me know how it can be done

Egyptian.. try to unnistall it then install it again.. ( maybe will work ) if not u can also update pb manually...

But we have to be patient, it's a free new game.. and there is a LOT of people trying download it and play it.. for now we just can w8 for them, they are working on it ( if not they should be! (joking) ).

They have again released a program that plainly isn't finished, the only reason they get away with it is cause it's free.
You'd have thought they'd make sure of it all after the Deploy Client fuck up.
We will NOT be running an AA3 server anytime soon, at least until they get the stupid thing to work, that could be weeks.

The only thing that I found that might help are the Game Crashes and the No HUD.

Login / Training / Server issues
Mostly auth related. This is still being addressed.

Locked Steam download
Many have resolved this by restarting Steam and/or changing download locations. You can do this by going to File - Settings - Downloads in Steam.

Game crashes
Repeated ALT-Tabbing is one known cause. If it is not the case for you, then please create a topic in the AA Support forum with a detailed report. You can do this by creating a DXDiag report and by copying the last lines of the ArmyOps.log file (located in My Documents\My Games\AA3\AA3Game\Logs).

No HUD
Disable anti-aliasing in-game and in the video card control panel.

Vista 64 bit not working
Update to latest DirectX. Also, in Steam, click "My Games", right click on "America's Army 3", select "Properties", "Set launch options", type in "-dxlevel 10" and press "OK".

I can't select the screen resolution I want to use
Open the console (press the ~ key), and type in the following command: "SetRes 1600x1200" (without quotes, where 1600x1200 is the desired screen resolution).

Performance issues
Make sure your PC meets the System Requirements. If your PC does not meet the recommended system requirements, you can try out these tweaks to improve the performance of AA3.

The problem I encountered is not in this list!
Please create a topic in the AA Support forum and describe in details the problem. You can also visit the America's Army IRC network to get live support. (Via your favorite IRC client or via http://irc.americasarmy.com. Open the channel #aa-support.)

i guess i knew the problem the game needs Shader Model 2.0 which is found in the graphic card which i dont have :S so ill c if i can get a new one soon

they are saying most of the problems we are having, training not updating, pre-reg accounts and the likes are all auth server problems.

AAtracker has an auth server indicator top right hand side of page so you can see straight away if it is up or down.

i dont understand wot happend?

do u mean that the game exit from itself and give u that massage ?

if so.......its mean ur camputer cant handle the game!
you need to read the system requirements and compare with yours
