Thinking to Join? Please Read This!

Hello and Welcome to OAS

As the clan grows in size, OAS is having to do a more thorough when adding new members. Checking backgrounds and getting to know recruits becomes more important than ever.
If you are interested in joining the clan, please do the following:

1. Go to the "Recruiting Template" Sticky. You will need to post a New Post that contains the questions and appropriate responses. Please be sure to put your Americas Army Username in the Subject area of the reply. The subject line is how your application will be tracked and filed. Please fill in as much as possible about yourself. The information you post there goes no farther than this clan but, the more we know about you, the better your chances will be.

2. Download TeamSpeak3
It is easy to install, so please do as soon as possible.

The 32Bit version is recommended, as it runs well on all operating systems.
Teamspeak is not a mandatory requirement, although it is HIGHLY recommended.
There is no better way to meet the members of this clan than to talk to them directly.

3. Be patient! Your background will be checked for past cheating/PunkBuster issues from multiple sources. We want a fun but responsible clan member, not a cheating clan member. Also, there is no time limit on when the clan officers have to vote on your acceptance. The clan is spread out globally and occasionally it proves to be difficult for the officers to communicate on a speedy basis. We will see your application, and when a determination has been made, you will be notified.
The only other way you will be notified is if we require further information from you.

4. Enjoy! The clan was designed to have FUN. Gaining honor is a great thing to do and winning Clan Wars will be fun. The most important thing for us is to enjoy screwing around and having a laugh.

5. Be content! OAS has grown large lately. There is no assumption that you will be granted Admin rights within ANY time frame. As we run a ForceClass server, having a large number of admins proves very beneficial. The one thing we HAVE to have, is responsible people using these admin powers. They are a gift, not a right. The goal of the clan is to keep the server as full as possible, as often as possible.

6. Who are you? Go to the Profile tab at the top of this screen. Edit your profile so that ALL the information asked for there is complete. Some of the questions will be the same as those found in the recruiting tab, but fill them out anyway.
